Photo Album v2.0b Debug Info

Thank you very much for beta testing this for me. The first version was definitely shaky and had some known bugs, all of which are fixed (I hope). This is the second version of the first applet I have ever written, so I expect to see a few problems; for the most part though, I think the major things have been ironed out.


Fixed Bugs


  1. IMGBASE parameter was relative to the codebase, not the document itself, this has been fixed.
  2. Text wrapping was not working properly. I now have an algorithm that wraps text perfectly (thanks PAIWEN!), so this should also be fixed..
  3. The Scrollbars did not operate correctly, this is now fixed.

New Features


  1. You can now specify just a base name for the images, along with an increment (ex: paris0, paris1, paris2, etc…)
  2. The images will automatically cycle based on the DELAY parameter; set it to 999999 to turn cycling off.
  3. The buttons can now be hidden, set BUTTON to 0
  4. The text of the buttons can be changed.
  5. The text area should change in height based on the height of the picture showing.

I would ask that you set the DEBUG parameter to 5, that gives all debugging information from the Java console (I don’t know where this is in IE)
